From its start as the developer of commercial radiant heating systems in the 1940s, R.G. Vanderweil Engineers has diversified into a mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and telecommunications engineering firm. The firm offers building services engineering for HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning) systems, fire protection systems, and specialized central utility plants. The group also works on a large range of projects, including academic, commercial, industrial, sports, and hospitality facilities. In 1950 Austrian emigrant Raimund Vanderweil established the firm, which continues to be led by his family.
