Rachel Axler is an American television writer and playwright. In television, her credits include New Girl, Bored to Death, Parks & Recreation and The Daily Show.
As a playwright, with a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego,[1] her works include the plays Smudge[2] and Archaeology.[3]
In 2006 and 2009, Axler won two Primetime Emmy Awards for her work on The Daily Show as a part of the writing team.[4]
