Plot

Italian racing cars have had a long and glorious history. This video is a compilation of the drivers and their racing machines. Using extensive archival film footage, both color and black-and-white, viewers experience some of the great auto-racing cars of the last century -- like Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Ferrari, and Maserati. The program also contains interviews and highlights from some of the great drivers, such as the legendary Argentinean driver Juan-Manuel Fangio, who won the 1955 Drivers World Championship, and Niki Lauda, who became the 1975 world champion for Ferrari.
