Review

Solid swing music comes from Dorsey's orchestra just before he hit it big with "Marie." Although Bunny Berigan is on a few of these songs, the main soloists on this CD are tenorman Bud Freeman, trumpeter Max Kaminsky and clarinetist Joe Dixon along with Dorsey's trombone. Swinging instrumentals and vocals by Edythe Wright And The Three Esquires are heard in an enjoyable program of Dorsey radio appearances. ~ Scott Yanow, Rovi
