Biography

Boesch studied with Messiaen and also within the Groupe de Recherches Musicales. In 1968 he took a position as director of the Lausanne Conservatory, but he left in 1972 to pursue his compositional career. He has written for film and stage as well as instrumental, electronic music and mixed-media pieces. He has taken part in collective compositions with the Paris group GERM and the Berne group Neue Horizonte as a player and improvisational planner.
