Rainer Wieland (b. 19 February 1957, Stuttgart) is a German politician and Member of the European Parliament for Baden-Württemberg.[1] Since 2009 he is one of the 14 Vice Presidents of the Parliament. He is a member of the conservative Christian Democratic Union, part of the European People's Party. Rainer Wieland is chairman of Europa-Union Deutschland Baden-Württemberg (regional section of UEF) and since 2011 President of Europa-Union Deutschland.[2]
