Glodeni is a district (Moldovan: raion) in the north of Moldova, with the administrative center at Glodeni. As of 1 January 2005, its population was 60,800. The administrative-territorial division - 35 localities grouped in 18 comune and 1 town.
One of most beautiful localities is Bisericani, a small village situated on the river of Prut, in Pădurea Domnească natural reservation.
