[rah-mahn-DOH-loh] docg zone located in the friuli-venezia giulia region in northeast Italy, north of Udine around the village of Ramandolo. It's a colli orientali del friuli doc subzone that achieved docg status in 2001. The DOCG covers the famous sweet dessert wines made from the verduzzo grape (called the Ramandolo grape in this region).
