Ramesh Aravind is an Indian actor, director, producer, and TV host.

Aravind first started acting in the television program Parichaya.[when?]. His first film role was in Sundara Swapnagalu. Aravind acquired many film roles in the Tamil film industry. His directorial debut came with Rama Shama Bhama. Aravind continued with other Tamil films before moving onto Telugu films.[1] Arvind wrote the screenplayfor Hoomale, which was directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekar and won awards for best Kannada film of that year.[citation needed]
Arvind has four siblings. He is married to Archana,[disambiguation needed
] and they have a son and a daughter.[2]

Ramesh Aravind's first two directorial ventures, Rama Shama Bhama and Sathyavaan Savithri, were comedies and had a fair degree of success at the box office.[citation needed] His third directorial venture, Accident, was a critically acclaimed thriller[4] that, however, failed to entice the audience.[citation needed] His next directorial venture, Venkata in Sankata, was released in 2009.[5]
