Biography

Over his 30-year career as a set decorator, Ray Moyer worked on numerous films. Born in Santa Barbara, CA, he began working for MGM as a prop man following military service in 1919. Ray Moyer (21 February 1898 – 6 February 1986) was an American set decorator. He won three Academy Awards and was nominated for nine more in the category Best Art Direction.[1]
