Review

Ray Stevens Christmas: Through a Different Window is exactly what you'd expect from a Ray Stevens holiday album. It's a twisted, funny collection of wacky holiday songs like "I Won't Be Home for Christmas," "Guilt for Christmas," "Nightmare Before Christmas," "The Little Drummer Boy Next Door," "Bad Little Boy," "The Greatest Little Christmas Ever Wuz," "Santa Claus Is Watching You," "The Annual Office Christmas Party" and, of course, the classic "Redneck Christmas" -- yum yum!!!!! This is the kinda record you listen to and laugh because it's so true-to-life. Anyone that knows that the holidays are a zany time -- say, anyone from a family that celebrates Christmas in October -- will understand Ray Stevens' Christmas Through a Different Window. ~ Chuck Donkers, All Music Guide
