Biography

A stellar Broadway juvenile, Raymond Bloomer had been in the original production of Victor Herbert's Naughty Marietta (1910) and supported Mary Pickford in A Good Little Devil. Pickford remembered him and cast him as the lovesick Giovanni in Frances Marion's The Love Light (1921), along with Peter the Fisherman in Josef von Sternberg's sadly lost A Woman of the Sea (1926), his most notable screen assignment. ~ Hans J.
