Raymond V. Gilmartin (born March 6, 1941, in Sayville, New York[1]) is a professor at Harvard Business School and a member of the board of directors at Microsoft and at General Mills. He was the President and CEO of Merck & Co, Inc. from 1994 until 2005 and was director of the company during the Vioxx scandal.
Gilmartin received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Union College in 1963 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1968.
