Raymond Tait Affleck


(1922–89)

Canadian architect, whose interests in multi-purpose spaces are expressed in the Place Bonaventure, Montréal (1964–8), by Affleck Desbarats Dimakopoulos Lebensold Sise (1955–69): it is a vast complex with internal circulation routes and spaces, but its architectural style is a somewhat forbidding example of Brutalism.
