Rayssiguier (d. 1660). French dramatist. He took a liberal attitude to the issue of regularity, and his six plays include an adaptation of Tasso's Aminta (published 1632), three tragicomedies taken from L' Astrée, and two others, La Bourgeoise (published 1633) and Les Tuileries (performed 1635), which contributed to the popularity of less romanesque, more modern and sophisticated love intrigues.
