A text file copied onto software distribution disks that contains last-minute updates or errata that have not been printed in the documentation manual.

TXT) to be read before proceeding with, for example, installation of a software application. Usually contains information on compatibility issues discovered too late to be included in the printed documentation (if any) or online Help file.
