Rebecca Balding (born on September 21, 1955) is an American actress who was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is married to television producer James L. Conway.
She has a long list of film and television credits to her name. She is best known for her role on Charmed as Elise Rothman. She appeared in 23 episodes of the series (though the first was not in the character of newspaper editor-in-chief and Phoebe's boss Elise Rothman), and for her role as Carol David on Soap which she appeared in 18 episodes. (In Charmed, prior to her role as Elise, Balding also appeared in a first season episode (The Fourth Sister) as guest character Aviva's Aunt Jackie.) Much earlier into her career, she played Corky Crandall in the 1970s sitcom Makin' It, as well as reporter Carla Madigan during the first three episodes of the 1970s-80s drama Lou Grant (before that character was written out).
Rebecca attended the University of Kansas.
