Reed–Frost model
A simple mathematical model of an outbreak of hypothetical disease; a chain-binomial model, based on the development of an outbreak of disease occurring as a chain of events, each of which is assessable in terms of a binomial equation, suitable for class-room use. See also epidemiological model.
