Reigate railway station is in Surrey, England. On the North Downs Line, the station is managed by Southern, which provides an hourly service to London Charing Cross via Redhill. First Great Western provide services to Reading via Guildford and Gatwick Airport via Redhill.

Between Reigate and Redhill the North Downs Line has third rail electrification.

The ticket office is open Monday to Fridays from 06.10 to 12.45 On Saturdays it opens at 06.10 to 12.45 The ticket office is closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.

First time users are often confused how to get between platforms when the ticket office is shut. There is a sign-posted but often overlooked underpass approximately 15 metres down from the ticket office (just out of camera shot in the picture opposite) over to Platform 2. On Sundays the ticket office is shut, so access to Platform 1 is via a gate set into the fence approximately 40 metres down from the subway. This gate is kept locked when the ticket office is open.

There is a ticket issuing machine outside the booking office, allowing most tickets to be purchased 24 hours a day. There is also a Permit to travel machine on platform 2 (turned off when the ticket office is open). Passengers should make sure they have a valid ticket or a Permit to travel before boarding a train, as First Great Western routes will check tickets on board.

Westbound services to Dorking,Guildford and stations to Reading always leave from platform 2. Eastbound First Great Western services from Reading to Redhill and Gatwick Airport always leave from platform 1. Weekday Southern services to Redhill and London termini leave from platform 2. These services are listed at the booking office.
