Remind Me

Wikipedia: Remind Me (Patrice Rushen song)

"Remind Me" is a 1982 song recorded by American singer-songwriter Patrice Rushen. The song, written by Rushen and Karen Evans and produced by Rushen herself, was issued on the singer's popular album Straight from the Heart. Rushen played most of the instruments on the album, composing bass, guitar and drum parts on synthesizers while performing a keyboard solo near the end of the song. Much like her often-sampled hit, "Forget Me Nots", this song in particular has been heavily sampled by R&B and hip-hop acts since its release. Mary J. Blige interpolated Rushen's chorus in her debut hit which was also called "You Remind Me," while Faith Evans, Junior M.A.F.I.A., and others have sampled the song's intro.
