Biography

A pop/rock band from Spain, Revólver was formed in the late '80s by singer/songwriter Carlos Goñi. Signing with Warner Music in 1990, they recorded a self-titled debut album that same year. After issuing Si No Hubiera Que Comer in 1992, Revólver started performing acoustic live shows around Spain, releasing an unplugged record called Básico in 1993, followed by 1995's El Dorado and 1996's Calle Mayor, which were produced in the U.S. by Thom Panuzzio. After a second live album called Revolver 2, the band returned in 2000 with Sur, produced by Mick Glossop. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
