Reynante "Rey" Langit is a multi-awarded Filipino Broadcaster. He is a longtime columnist for Philippine newspapers Tempo, Balita and People's Tonight. He is also the main anchorman for the nationally aired DWIZ882kHz AM Radio Station. He currently hosts two weekly public affairs television programs, "Kasangga Mo ang Langit" (You're Up Against the Sky) and "Biyaheng Langit," (Heavenly Voyage) which airs on Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation (IBC) (because his surname means "sky" or "heaven" in Tagalog). Both TV programs also air over DWIZ882kHz AM. Currently, he is one of the newsanchors for the news program Teledyaryo (Primetime Edition) With Angelique Lazo & Aljo Bendijo on National Broadcasting Network.

Early Life and Career
He has been honored many times during his 40 years of service broadcasting. His awards include the Radio Broadcast Journalist of the Year award given by the Rotary Club of Manila in 1989 for his exceptional reporting during the 1989 series of coup d'état attempts. In 2004, Langit was once more named "Radio Broadcast Journalist of the Year" by the Rotary Club of Manila for his outstanding achievements in public service through broadcast media and his exceptional and in depth reports on relevant and important issues. He was cited for his dedication to helping overseas Filipino workers through his various TV and radio programs.
Aside from being an admired broadcaster, Langit is also an accomplished leader. He is the Station Manager of the DWIZ Am Radio Station and VP of ALIW Bradcasting. He is also the chairman of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas-Metro Manila Chapter and is a member of the board of directors of the KBP-National. He is also the Chairman of HIP TV, Inc. which is an independent media production house producing its own television and radio programs.
Personal life
Rey Langit is married to Ester Dino Langit and has 2 sons, Reyster Langit (born March 1972 died June 3, 2005 due to celebral malaria) and JR Langit (born April 1976).
In 2005, Langit's son, Reyster Langit, also a journalist, died of heart failure due to cerebral malaria, a disease he contracted in Palawan while on assignment for the public affairs program Kasangga Mo Ang Langit. his surviving son, JR, has since joined him in the field of broadcasting.
