You might say this company takes its time telling stories on television. RHI Entertainment is a producer and distributor of long-form television content, including made-for-TV movies and miniseries programming. Its original productions have included The Summit for ION and Tin Man on Syfy. The company also boasts a library of more than 1,000 titles that include Alice in Wonderland, Call of the Wild, Merlin, The Lion in Winter, The Odyssey, and Lonesome Dove. In addition to supplying programming to broadcast and cable networks, RHI Entertainment distributes its shows on video and DVD, and online through digital outlets such as Apple's iTunes store. RHI emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2011.
