Route 77 is a numbered State Highway running 16.2 miles in Rhode Island.
Route
- Note: This State highway is one of four (RI 77, RI 81, RI 177 and RI 179) whose Rhode Island sections only serve the Tiverton/Little Compton area.
Route 77 takes the following route through the State:
- Little Compton: 6.9 miles; Rhode Island Road to Tiverton town line
- Town Landing, Sakonnet Point Road and West Main Road
- Tiverton: 9.3 miles; Little
Compton town line to Route 24
- Main Road
History
The section of Route 77 between Route 179 and Route 177 was once part of Route 126, which now runs through the Blackstone Valley.
Notes
Route 77 travels through some very scenic areas of Tiverton and Little Compton.
