Review

An 18-track collection of rare and very good jump blues sides from the pre-rock & roll era. With tracks aboard from T-Bone Walker, the Trenier Twins, Jay McShann, Rex Stewart, Louis Jordan, Roy Milton, Freddie Slack, and Albert Ammons, the quality is as high as this music gets. Nice, clean transfers of the material makes this set a joy to listen to and a better swing party collection would be mighty hard to find. ~ Cub Koda, Rovi
