Biography
Richard Angst was a noted German lighting director most notable for his work on Dr. Arnold Franck's German Mountain Films. Angst was born the son of a city planner in Zurich Switzerland. He began working as a lab assistant for a film studio when he was 18, and by 1927 had joined Franck's famous team. By the 1930s he was traveling all over the world with the famous geologist and filmmaker.
