Biography

A producer since 1957, Richard E. Lyons got his start as an office boy at MGM. He then worked as a photographer's mate under John Ford at the OSS film photographic branch. Later Lyons assisted in the founding of MGM Records. In 1955, he moved to Hollywood to work as a story editor.
