Review

This '90s guitar and drums noise duo from Florida approaches improvised music from the same angle as Ascension, Fat, and the Blue Humans -- a kind of splatter rock that mixes the disregard for form of free jazz with the electricity of post-punk experimentation. On Ride a Dove, their subversion of what is commonly regarded as music is produced in a spontaneous fashion and with a lo-fi production value that leaves something to desired. Though this rawness and disregard is all part of the character, fans of the Dead C, Merzbow, and some of Sonic Youth's noise offshoots will find this album thrilling. ~ Martin Walters, All Music Guide
