Ridgedale Center is a large regional shopping mall in Minnetonka, Minnesota a western suburb of the Twin Cities. Built in 1974, it is owned and operated by General Growth Properties and anchored by JCPenney, Macy's Women's and Childrens, Macy's Men's and Home, and Sears. Ridgedale Center was originally anchored by Dayton's, Donaldson's, JCPenney's, and Sears. Ridgedale Center is located off I-394 between Ridgedale Drive and Plymouth Road.

It is the youngest of the four "dale" shopping centers circling the Twin Cities, originally developed by The Dayton Co. The others are Southdale Center, Rosedale Center, and Brookdale Center.

Ridgedale's Macy's store offers the largest "Oval Room" (designer area) among Twin Cities suburban stores and is often the first store in the market to receive new, exclusive items. Ridgedale Center's lineup of merchants also includes Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, Ann Taylor Loft, Apple, bebe, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Coach, Coldwater Creek, Hollister Co., White House Black Market and others.

Renovation 2007

Ridgedale Center has undergone a renovation, including new carpet, tile, paint, fixtures and restrooms, finished in the fall of 2007. Nordstoms had expressed interest in locating to Ridgedale but no new information has shown progress towards that initiative. See "Renovation 2012" below.

Renovation 2012

Ridgedale Center was previously in the works of adding two new wings to the mall bringing more than 60 more new stores and two more anchor stores including Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. This would be the high end stores in the mall more knowingly because the malls three department stores include JCPenney's, Macy's, and Sears.
