Geography:

Rivière Saint Maurice

[͵se mawʹrēs; sānt ʹmawrəs]

River that flows 325 mi./525 km. through S Quebec, emptying into the St. Lawrence River at Trois-Rivières. Industrial cities along it include Shawinigan and Grand-Mère. Its valley is called La Mauricie.
