Its mobile resource management (MRM) system includes fleet tracking applications, field service management, and field asset management. Using GPS technology to fix a vehicle's geographic position, the company collects the data at a service center via wireless data transmissions made over the cellular networks of partner telecom companies. Trimble Mobile Resource Management serves customers in the transportation, distribution, field service, telecommunications, utilities, cable, and construction industries.
