The Road Traffic Act 1930 was Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom introduced by the then Minister of Transport Herbert Morrison. It introduced regulation of bus services in England and Wales together with a 30 mile an hour speed limit.
It was amended in 1988[1] many times since to keep up with modern traffic.
