Rob Moran (born 1963) is an American film and television actor. He played the role of a bartender in Dumb and Dumber and a trans hostess in Shallow Hal. He starred in the American teen drama South Of Nowhere where he portrayed the head of Carlin Family. In 1998, he played the role of a detective in the film There's Something About Mary along with Richard Tyson.
He had a guest appearance as Harold on TV show episode of Men of a Certain Age on TNT network channel. The episode was called "The New Guy". He also appeared in episode of the TV show Cold Case in the episode called "Lover's Lane".
He also appeared in an episode of Cheers as an unfit (according to Sam) buyer for Sam's Corvette.
Moran has been married to Julie Moran since 1987; they have two daughters.
