Roberto Gaston Orci (born 1973) is a Mexican film and television producer and screenwriter. His credits include Star Trek, The Legend of Zorro, Mission: Impossible III, Transformers, and Alias. He is the creator alongside with J.J. Abrams and Alex Kurtzman of the FOX hit TV show Fringe.

The Hollywood Reporter listed him as one of the 50 most powerful Latinos in Hollywood of 2007.[1]

Early life

Orci was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He is the older brother of J. R. Orci. He was raised in Canada, Texas, and Los Angeles, where he met his longtime friend and collaborator Alex Kurtzman. He attended The University of Texas at Austin.
