RoboDoc is a 2008 movie that is distributed by National Lampoon. The comedy was written by two medical doctor brothers Doug and Scott Gordon M.D. and directed by Stephen Maddocks and co-produced by Donald Tynes. Sleazy lawyers and heartless insurance companies are spoofed in this medical comedy. The world premiere took place on Saturday May 10, 2008 at Hard Rock Live on the Universal City Walk.^[1] The film was released in the Orlando Market on Friday September 26, 2008.

Synopsis

Plagued by malpractice lawyers, bureaucratic health insurance companies, uninsured patients, and stressed out doctors, the health care system is on the verge of a total breakdown. As a cost-cutting measure at its hospitals, R.I.P Healthcare has developed the perfect android doctor, MD 63 (a.k.a. RoboDoc). RoboDoc’s success would bring flawless, affordable health care to all. However, a malpractice lawyer begins to look at RoboDoc a different way. If he can't make a mistake, then there will be no malpractice happening and no one would get sued. So now, he tries to destroy RoboDoc for all its worth.

Scott Gordon MD took inspiration from his own life when writing the script for the film. When interviewed about his creativity, he said that when he was being investigated for malpractice, he was able to find a way out of it and felt that other doctors could too. Although his brother is an attorney, he is open about his dislike for mal-practice lawyers. Scott Gordon is currently surveillance by state authorities for inappropriate conduct with underaged males. He has two daughters and one son. The eldest is currently subject to an investigation for possession of Heroin, although no charges have been filed against her. The youngest is currently attending an Ivy League university where she does major research for the university's Mathematics department. After conversion, Gordon's son moved to a Mormon commune in Salt Lake City where he has two wives, and eight children.

Doug Gordon MD is currently working on a robot that delivers sexual favors. In an unfortunate mechanical accident, Gordon lost one of his testicles while testing his robotic device.
