Rochelle Eulah Wiseman (born 21 March 1989 in Romford, Essex) is an English singer best known for her work in S Club 8 and The Saturdays.
2001–2005: S Club and I Dream
In 2001 Rochelle auditioned to sing with S Club 7 on the Carnival Tour. The group S Club Juniors - later renamed S Club 8 - was created. In 2004 they went to Spain to shoot a children's programme, I Dream in Spain. The programme lasted for one series and the group disbanded in early 2005.
2005–2007: After S Club
In 2005 Rochelle became part of Children's variety show, Smile. In February 2007 she appeared as a guest on the Identity Parade round on the BBC Two music quiz show Never Mind The Buzzcocks, before then being an actual panel guest in October 2009. She also hosted BBC's Sunday Morning 'Smile' alongside Barney Harwood and Kirsten O'Brien from 2006 to 2007. She became part of a group called The TigerLilys who only went as far as a MySpaceMusic page. She also competed in Miss England.
2007–present: The Saturdays
In 2007 Rochelle auditioned to be part of The Saturdays. She got into the band alongside Frankie Sandford who was also in S Club 8. After releasing 2 singles and an album, the band appeared on Hollyoaks Later. They also released 2009's Comic Relief single "Just Can't Get Enough". The band is still active and their first album Chasing Lights went platinum. Their second album Wordshaker was released on 12 October, 2009. As of 11 October 2009 when The Saturdays' single "Forever Is Over" entered the UK charts at number 2, Rochelle and bandmate Frankie now tie with German dance act Sash! for the most amount of number 2 singles on the UK Singles Chart without reaching number 1. Two with The Saturdays (Just Can't Get Enough and Forever is Over) and three with S Club 8 (One Step Closer, Automatic High and New Direction).
