"Rock N Roll Jesus" is the fifth single from Kid Rock's album Rock N Roll Jesus. It was typical bravado-laced Kid Rock about sex, drugs and rock and roll. It is a hard rock song with a jazz influence and a funk guitar riff. The song was co-written by former lead gutairist Kenny Tudrick, who replaced Kenny Olson on the 2006 'Live' Trucker tour.
The chorus included David McMurray on saxophone and Rayse Biggs on trumpet, both formerly with the 80's group Was (Not Was). Larry Frantangelo could also be heard on the Wave Drums. It peaked at number 34 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
