"Rock On" is a song by British singer David Essex. Released in 1973 as his debut single, it reached #3 in the UK charts and #5 in the US.
Cover versions include singer/ actor Michael Damian's 1989 version, which topped the US charts, thus becoming the song's most successful version. More recently, Def Leppard covered it on their latest album, Yeah!, an album full of 1970s cover songs.
