The Rockdale Temple is located on Rockdale Avenue in the Avondale neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. This classical Temple was built by K.K. Bene Israel the oldest Jewish congregation west of the Allegheny Mountains and the 4th oldest congregation in the United States. The congregation was founded in 1824 in Cincinnati. In 1969, the congregation built a new Synagogue at 8501 Ridge Road in Amberley Village, Ohio.
