Rockettes

 

Female precision dance group which has appeared at New York's Radio City Music Hall since 1932. It was established by Russell Market in 1925 in Missouri, and based on the British troupe the Tiller Girls. There are now over 175 Rockettes who are divided between individual routines, in which they step and kick in strict unison.
