Review

Rockin' 70's: Volume 1 is a budget-line compilation of mostly AOR hits, including Uriah Heep ("Easy Living"), Nazareth ("Love Hurts"), Peter Frampton ("Show Me the Way"), Free ("All Right Now") and the Edgar Winter Group ("Frankenstein"). The remainder of the disc is littered with AM filler like 10CC's "The Things We Do for Love," Styx's "Babe" and Player's "Baby Come Back." Like the rest of this series, the disc has nonexistent liner notes and banal cover art that has nothing to do with the music on the CD. ~ Gina Boldman, All Music Guide
