Rockingham Memorial Hospital won't rock you to sleep, but you may sleep better knowing it's close by. The medical facility serves residents in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, offering some 270 beds. Specialized services include cardiovascular care, cancer treatment, a sleep disorder center, behavioral health care, obstetrics, and rehabilitation, as well as home health and hospice services. Rockingham Memorial Hospital was founded in 1912. The organization has a teaching relationship with James Madison University. Rockingham Memorial is building a new 240-bed hospital to replace its existing facility.
