Rocky Knob AVA

A small (9,000 acre) viticultural area in parts of southern Virginia's Floyd and Patrick Counties around the towns of Woolwine and Meadows of Dan. Established in 1987, it was named after the eponymous recreational area located in this area of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Château Morrisette's wines are the best known from this region.
