Intense Native American actor Rodney A. Grant achieved celebrity as the mercurial Lakota Sioux warrior Wind In His Hair in Kevin Costner's Dances with Wolves (1990). Thereafter, Grant trafficked almost exclusively in "firebrand" characterizations. He has been featured in such roles as Crazy Horse in the television miniseries Son of the Morning Star (1991), Mangas in Geronimo: An American Legend (1993) and Little Feather in Wagons East (1994).
