Rodney Mason (born 28 May 1991) is a rugby league footballer for the Newcastle Knights of the National Rugby League.[1] He plays at second-row and prop. He is the younger brother of controversial rugby league player Willie Mason.[2]

Playing career

While attending Hunter Sports High Mason played his junior football for the Central Newcastle Butcher Boys. He then later played for the Sydney Roosters Toyota Cup side in 2009 and the Newcastle Knights Toyota Cup side in 2010 and 2011 before starting first-grade training with the Knights squad in 2012. He has not yet made an appearance in the Telstra Premiership.
