Rodriguan Creole is a dialect of Mauritian Creole spoken on the island of Rodrigues in the Indian Ocean[1]. The total number of speakers is estimated at 40,000[citation needed]. On the island of Rodrigues, like in the rest of the republic of Mauritius, English is the official language and French is also spoken.
