Roger Zatkoff (born March 25, 1931 in Hamtramck, Michigan) is a former American football player who played linebacker for the Green Bay Packers from 1953-56. He then went on to play for the Detroit Lions. He was a starting player on the 1957 Detroit Lions World Championship team. It has been rumored that Roger Zatkoff was forced to wear a cowbell around his neck during practice. This allowed the running back to know when Zatkoff was coming. The running back would subsequently fall down to avoid being hit by Zatkoff.
