The Roman Catholic Diocese of Changde (Latin: Ciamtean(us), Chinese: 常德) is a diocese located in the city of Changde in the Ecclesiastical province of Changsha in China.

History

  • September 19, 1879: Established as Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Hunan 湖南北境 from the Apostolic Vicariate of Hunan 湖南
  • December 3, 1924: Renamed as Apostolic Vicariate of Changde 常德
  • April 11, 1946: Promoted as Diocese of Changde 常德
