Playing career
He was drafted by the Canadiens in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, 1st round, 13th overall. He has played for the AHL Quebec Citadelles and also with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the minor-league AHL. He also played with the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
After spending 3 seasons in the Canadiens organization was claimed off of waivers on Nov. 29, 2005 by the Columbus Blue Jackets.
