Biography

Ron Shaab was a producer and songwriter who was busy mostly in the 1960s and '70s, in the field of R&B and soul, primarily in Baton Rouge, LA. His credits include a trio of singles by the Sister and Brothers -- the first two of which, at least, were cut at Deep South Recording Studios in Baton Rouge -- issued, on the Uni and Calla labels. He also produced the album Cryin' in the Streets by pianist George Perkins and his band the Silver Stars. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi
